Running Politicology
Executive producing a top-ranked politics podcast every week since 2020.

I’ve produced a top-ranked politics podcast since 2020: prepping the talent, writing the copy, fixing the tech, and keeping every episode on schedule.
My work sits at the intersection of communication, production, operations, and technology.
Selected work
I’m most useful where ideas have to become something real—on deadline, with lots of moving parts.
These two projects show how I work: prepare the people, own the details, and deliver on deadline.

As Executive Producer of Politicology, I own production of a top-ranked politics and policy podcast from start to finish. I book the guests, prep the hosts, write the copy, direct the editors, manage the sponsors, and make sure the polished episode goes out on schedule, whatever the news cycle did that week.
The challenge
Political news moves quickly. The show has to stay timely and substantive while coordinating hosts, high-profile guests, outside editors, advertising requirements, subscriber distribution, and multiple publishing platforms. Small failures anywhere in that chain can become audience-facing problems.
How I work
The job is part editorial judgment, part project management, part technical support, and part quality control. My role is to keep the entire system moving: make sure people have what they need, identify problems early, and protect the quality of the final product.

Operations
25+ live digital town halls. More than 1.7 million participants.
During the 2020 campaign cycle, I produced and project-managed large-scale digital town halls for The Lincoln Project, coordinating programming, hosts, guests, run-of-show, technical production, and real-time support.
The challenge
Live programming removes the safety net. Guests need to be ready, hosts need the right information, technology has to work, and the team has to react to breaking developments without losing the structure of the event.
What I did
Produced and project-managed the event workflow while coordinating on-air talent, digital publishing, technical production, and campaign logistics in real time.

About
I’m a producer who usually ends up running the operation. I started in communications, handling media relations and client strategy for clients at Fleischer Communications. In 2020 I moved into production, executive producing The Lincoln Project’s podcast and 25+ live town halls, and I’ve stayed with the show ever since, through its relaunch as Politicology. Along the way I picked up the technical side too, from CompTIA A+ certification to web development.
I’m also an NASM-certified personal trainer, and the work is more similar than it sounds. Whether it’s a host, a client, or someone in the gym, it comes down to preparation, clear communication, and a plan they can actually follow.
I’m the person who figures out how the work is actually going to get done.
